New Media Census

Phase 1: Industry Profile

The NMM Statistical Profile is in development. Nordicity is collecting critical data from new media practitioners via the extensive online survey and a series of key interviews.

Your contribution to the online survey is paramount in developing each of the three project phases, including the Industry Profile, the Economic Impact Assessment and the Strategies 4 Success.

If you haven't completed the survey yet, please start now!

The final outcome will be a living published Industry Profile detailing Manitoba’s unique new media industry that can be used by industry and government alike.

Businesses can use the Industry Profile for self evaluation amongst their clients and peers, determine opportunities for collaboration and growth, and identify and mitigate threats and weaknesses. The Statistical Profile will also be a valuable information and marketing tool for describing the make-up of the Manitoba new media industry, as well as describing its unique strengths and opportunities to potential clients, suppliers and investors outside of Manitoba.

Government can use the Industry Profile to determine the breadth, composition and importance of the Manitoba new media industry, and as a benchmark to track industry growth and for insight into potential investment and industry supports.
