iPad: the Future of Music?

New Media Manitoba is partnering with Manitoba Music to deliver a presentation on the ultimate in mobile music production studios: the Apple iPad.

Certified Apple Professional Andrew Yankiwski of Precursor Productions will provide the skinny on how to produce your next musical thriller using iOS devices like the iPad and iPhone.

Artists like the Gorillaz have already mixed and produced an entire album on the iPad resulting in a new tool and possibly a new methodology for music production.

Tuesday's look at music production on the iPad will include:

1. Discussion on the Underlying iPad & iPhone Technology & Platform
2. Overview of the iPad & iPhone Audio Interfaces
3. A Demonstration of the iPad & iPhone Workstation Apps
4. An Overview & Demo of iPad Instrument Apps

6. Integrating iPad & iPhone Music Production into your Project Studio Workflow
