Cinema 4D Bootcamp

New Media Manitoba is thrilled to announce our first Cinema 4D Bootcamp! This 3-Day class is targeted at intermediate to advanced 3D Artists who want to learn how to take advantage of the high end functionality in Cinema 4D

Cinema 4D is a 3D modelling, animation and rendering package and has gained a lot of traction in the Broadcast, Motion Graphics, and Visual Effects industries over the past few years. Cinema 4D is one of the more user friendly 3D applications available today, and it's easy learning curve has helped it's wide spread adoption in these industries.

Prerequisites

This class is aimed at exploring the advanced features of Cinema 4D. If you have never used Cinema 4D before, you must have prior experience in another 3D application such as Maya or 3DS Max. By taking this class, we will be assuming that you understand the basics of how to work in 3D space, and understand general terminology used in creating 3D graphics and animation.

If you are brand new to 3D software and Cinema 4D, this class may be too advanced for you. Please Contact Kert Gartner below, if you have any questions

The class will be taught on the Macintosh platform. You should have a working knowledge of the Macintosh and its operating system.

About the Instructor

Chris Schmidt is a self taught Cinema4D user since version 6 in 2001. After teaching C4D for 4 years at Prairie State College and creating a series of tutorials for Maxon on Cineversity, he co-founded Chicago’s C4d user group ChicagoC4d. With a general obsession of all things C4D especially character rigging, animation, Xpresso and Thinking Particles. Most recently co developed the City Kit with Nick Campbell.
