When Flickr, the most popular photo-sharing site in the world released their Camera Popularity Chart in 2011, it wasn't Canon or Nikon cameras that photographers used to shoot the most photos - it was Apple's iPhone 4. As noted in a June, 2011 CNET article, "It is smartphones, not cameras, that are becoming the devices that produce the visual record of people's lives."
On Tuesday, November 22, 2011, from 7 pm - 9 pm, join us for a study in "iPhoneography," as two professional commercial photographers share how you can use an iPhone to create incredible content.
Over the course of the evening you will learn:
- Essential tips for shooting photos with an iPhone
- 4 iPhone apps that will make your photos pop
- How to use Instagram and a Blurb photo stream to create a beautiful photo book
- The best project workflow for setting up, shooting, and processing your iPhone photos
By the end of the evening you will learn some incredible photography tools for iPhone photographers and be exposed to the creative possibilities offered on the iOS platform. Come and see why Smartphone Cameras have become the new Polaroid of the digital age.
