Digital Cameras for N00bs
So we heard you "may" have picked up a sweet deal on a Digital Camera over the holidays and you "might" be wondering what all those buttons do and why the camera symbols look like hieroglyphics from an Indiana Jones movie.
Worry no longer good citizen, we have the answers.
On Sunday, January 22, 2012, get introduced to the fundamentals of how to take better photos and learn the technical in's-and-out's of your shiny new digital camera.
This intro photography course is part of a New Media series designed for people just getting starting in New Media. All are welcome.
Sunday's presentation will be led by one of Manitoba's Top-100 most Fascinating People: commercial photographer Ian McCausland, along with International wedding photographer Nghia Tran.
Ian and Nghia will guide you through the basics of photography, explain some of the common features on all cameras and explore the possibilities to take your photography beyond the basic snapshot.
