Indie Game : The Movie

We are THRILLED to announce the official Winnipeg screening of the 2012 Sundance Selection for World Documentary: "Indie Game: The Movie," by New Media Manitoba Members Lisanne Pajot and James Swirsky of BlinkWorks Productions.

Many of you will remember Lisanne and Jamie for their work on the New Media Showcase videos featuring exceptional Manitoba New Media Companies.

For over a year now they have been touring North America capturing & editing countless hours of documentary footage featuring stories of the personal flaws, art, and triumphs of Indie Game Developers. The result is nothing short of spectacular.

On February 3, 2012, BlinkWorks and New Media Manitoba will present the first independent screening from Sundance of Indie Game: The Movie, followed by a Question and Answer period at the Winnipeg Art Gallery.

Tickets went on sale yesterday at 3 pm for $15 and quite literally are close to selling out thanks to a frenzy of Twitter and Facebook activity. We wanted New Media Manitoba members to know as soon as possible so you can grab a seat and join in the celebration! :)
