Industry professionals\, students and hobbyists have all been signing up for the chance to jam in person. As a result\, we are excited to announce that we are at 100% capacity for both the in-person jam and for Thursday’s speaker’s night!  \n\n\n\nOver 100 participants are set to descend into Winnipeg’s historic Exchange District for an entire weekend of game development. Chris will be speaking on finding career opportunities in the industry. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nRebecca Harrison needs no introduction to the local game development scene. She has reached legendary status for her work\, love of game jams\, and her positive energy. Rebecca is the founder of Flightyfelon games. She and her talented team are currently working on FREERIDE\, an Action-RPG that’s (not-so) secretly a Personality Test. Rebecca will be sharing her thoughts on “Crunch.” \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nTamara Abas is leading New Media Manitoba’s instructional efforts for our latest initiative StudioLab xR. As Canada’s only female Unreal Authorized Instructor\, she lives and breathes all things Unreal Engine. Beyond all the technical prowess\, she is a passionate instructor with an unparalleled commitment to sharing her knowledge. Tamara will be speaking on the topic of Technical Art. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nUnity Technologies believes that creativity can change the world. Their technology empowers creators of all kinds to create games and experiences to educate and entertain. We are fortunate to have Thomas Winkley and Joy Horvath from Unity braving the winter cold to join us at PegJam.
