AI agents can build apps fast, but fast isn’t the same as good. Left on their own, they guess at what you want, skip testing, and make design decisions without asking you.
The difference between an okay result and a great one is often the harness: everything you set up around the AI to guide it and check its work.
Who this workshop is for
- What a harness is, and why it matters as much as the AI itself
- How to give your AI clear direction before it starts building, so it makes what you actually want instead of guessing
- How to set up automatic checks that test your app after the AI builds, so mistakes get caught before you find them yourself
- How to create higher-quality, better-designed apps with AI agents
- Together, we’ll build a simple app step by step and see firsthand the difference a well-set-up harness makes.
Before you sign up: we’ll be working in the Terminal with text-based tools, not graphical apps. You should be comfortable with basic command-line skills, like changing directories and running simple commands from a terminal or command prompt.
