Past Programs

PLEASE NOTE: The funding cycle for the following programs have come to an end, and we are currently not accepting new applications.

The Market Access Program (MAP) provides eligible Interactive Digital Media (IDM) companies in Manitoba with funding to participate in domestic and international market access initiatives that align with their business growth strategy.

NMM designed the B2B Professional Services Program to respond to the unique requirements of IDM companies that need support to grow their business.

With over a decade of experience supporting the IDM industry in Manitoba, we know that each business is at a different stage of maturity, knowledge, and experience, and will need a different type of support as a result. Therefore this program gives companies the opportunity to request access to business development expertise to overcome specific challenges in order to increase their competitiveness and market share.

The Accelerator Partnership Program (A2P) is designed to provide producers of digital media projects funded through the CMF’s Experimental Stream with better access to mentorship, market and capital.

As such, the A2P seeks to connect Experimental Stream funding recipients with renowned Canadian and foreign accelerators that the CMF has selected based on their ability to work with the variety of projects and diversity of producers supported by the CMF, across the country and abroad.

We would like to continue to support IDM companies and notify our members when we commence a new funding cycle. NMM offers various other services like trade missions, program navigation, and hiring support. Reach out to our team to learn more and share your thoughts on future programs.

The New Media Manitoba Employment Diversity Program offsets the costs incurred by eligible Interactive Digital Media (IDM) companies in Manitoba when hiring individuals from underrepresented groups for skilled roles in the IDM sector.
