GameBiz Lab is bringing education and consulting around the business side of video games to Manitoba’s video game community.
For new and aspiring video game studio owners: Apply to be part of a cohort that gets priority access to consultations with industry experts, the ability to book NMM’s space, monthly coworking sessions, and more.
For expert speakers: Meet with an engaged video game community in person in Manitoba, Canada while sharing about your expertise on business of video games topics
For anyone interested the business of video games: Meet with other like-minded Manitobans for in-person talks by industry experts and ask your burning questions.

Initial Development Support Program (IDSP)
Are you leading a new or early-stage video game studio? Through the Initial Development Support Program, New Media Manitoba (NMM) will cover up to 75% of eligible expenses such as hardware, software, incorporation costs, insurance, marketing, and professional consultations. Other costs may be eligible if the applicant can describe how they will help the studio grow.
Successful applicants can access up to $5,000 per year. Applications will be reviewed in batches based on the month they are submitted and applicants will be contacted in the first two weeks the following month. Apply now!
The program is supported by Ubisoft Winnpeg.

*New Media Manitoba will organize opportunities to meet in our training space during times designated for the cohort to be able to mingle, ask questions, and share insights.
